(Layton, UT) — People living near Hill Air Force Base say deafening noise from new military jet planes is creating serious problems. The jets in question are F-35s, which locals say are much louder than the F-16 jets they’re used to hearing. According to neighbors, the vibrations from the planes are strong enough to knock over objects and crack windows. Surrounding communities did a two-and-a-half year study on the jet noise and came up with recommendations to solve the issue. However, despite the recommendations, locals say no action has been taken.
