(Salt Lake City, UT) — Several national forests are ready to sell permits to allow Utahns to cut their own Christmas trees. Fishlake and Manti-La Sal national forests are already selling the permits, which allow holders to cut down a tree through December 31st. Ashley, Dixie and Uintah-Wasatch-Cache national forests will begin selling permits next week. Information about getting a permit is available online at recreation.gov.
