(Cedar City, UT)  –  Two roads are closed in Iron County because of the dangerous, snowy conditions in the area.   The state department of transportation says State Route 143 is closed from Brian Head to Mammoth. The road is still open to Brian Head to Parowan. A portion of State Route 14 near Duck Creek Village is also shut down.  UDOT spokesperson Kevin Kitchen says SR 143 will take longer to reopen than SR 14.   The website Udot.Utah.Gov has up to date information on Utah road closings.Â
