MOAB, Utah (ABC 4 UTAH)-Thursday, a Moab, Utah preschool was placed under lockdown after police reported a man fired shots from a handgun in front of the school.
The incident occurred around 1:30 pm MDT Thursday afternoon at the Sundwall Preschool near 100 North and 200 East in Moab.
Authorities stated the suspect shot a single round toward the ground as he walked westward on the sidewalk.
Authorities confirmed the suspect was in his mid to late 50’s and was wearing a blue vest, a long sleeve shirt and brown sport type pants.
He had a “salt and pepper” beard and was carrying a black revolver in his left hand.
Officers were in the area but failed to locate the suspect.
