(Green River, UT) — A 13-year-old Colorado girl is safe after being found in Utah Wednesday. Police in Aurora, Colorado had issued an AMBER Alert for the girl Tuesday, saying she may have been kidnapped or lured from her home. Troopers with the Utah Highway Patrol spotted the suspect’s vehicle on Interstate 70 outside Green River yesterday and pursued him. Forty-one-year-old Navarro Cathey was taken into custody, and the 13-year-old was found inside his vehicle. She has been returned to Colorado and police are working to get her back to her family.
