The Manti High School Green Power car team took 4th in the Nation in their division in Indianapolis on Monday. The team built a battery operated car and had the opportunity to race at Nationals. The kids had won state 2 previous years and took 3rd place this year at the state competition. The team had to raise over $10,000 to go to Nationals in Indianapolis. Thanks to the efforts of the kids, the parents, multiple fundraisers, and a very generous community they got the opportunity to go and race on the Indianapolis 500 race track and use Jimmy Johnson’s bay. The team would like to thank the community for all the support they offered.
