(Iron County, UT) — A man is missing his fingertip following an accident at the Iron County Shooting Range. Officials say the man was firing the gun when he felt a sudden pain, and noticed the tip of his finger had been blown off. An investigation determined that wind blew a sleeping bag cover over the barrel, causing a gas blowback that blew off the man’s fingertip.
