On Aug. 4, Piute County Sheriff’s Office responded to a fight in Junction. According to a post on the Piute County Sheriff’s Office Facebook page, “multiple people were involved in the fight and the fight was broken up by deputies. A 19-year-old male suffered serious injuries as a result from the fight. He was taken by ambulance to Sevier Valley Hospital and later life flighted to a hospital in Northern Utah.” The man’s identity and condition has not been released. This case is still under investigation, and it was shared in the post, “charges, if any, will be filed when all of the evidence is collected.”
