Man Hospitalized After Incident at Richfield Pool

On Mar. 8, EMTs were called to the Richfield City Pool where a man was not breathing  after being pulled from the pool by lifeguards. According to Police Chief Trent Lloyd, lifeguards performed CPR on the 23-year-old until EMTs and Officers arrived.

The individual was taken by ambulance to Sevier Valley Hospital and was able to breath on his own by the time he arrived, however it was labored. He was flown to a hospital in Northern Utah by Life Flight. According to reports, it appears he may have suffered from a medical event causing him to slip under the water.
