(Beryl, UT) — A man is dead following a house fire in Iron County. The blaze started Father’s Day morning in Beryl with one person inside, who was able to get out and call for help. But, St. George News reports the 42-year-old apparently went back inside to rescue his dog and never came back out. Fire officials noted the dog was outside at the time of the fire and they aren’t sure if the homeowner was aware of that. It’s unclear what started the fire.
