(Page, AZ) — A man is dead after falling from a houseboat on Lake Powell. San Juan County dispatch told the National Park Service Sunday of a 41-year-old who fell 20 feet from the boat in Wetherill Canyon. The man, who was a Utah resident, was recovered several hours after the fall following an unsuccessful search for him. Officials noted the incident took place on a private boat but other details about what happened are being investigated. A GoFundMe page has been set up to help the man’s family with funeral expenses.
