(Cedar City, UT) — A 37-year-old man who police say admitted to having sex with a 17-year-old girl at a Cedar City hotel last month is in custody. Police say Vernon Ross also gave the girl alcohol and a nicotine vape, and exchanged sexually explicit photos with her before they met up. Ross is being held at the Iron County Jail on several charges, including five counts of sexual exploitation of a minor.
