A man accused of posing as a teenage boy on social media is facing federal charges.

42 year old Russell Dean Petersen was indicted in July for encouraging minors to send him nude selfies.

The investigation began in January when Petersen’s estranged wife found out he was using Snapchat to pose as a 15-year-old boy.

His account featured photos of the naked girls, who were between six and 15-years old.

Petersen faces 15 years to life in prison. His court date is in September.
