(Beaver, UT) — A wildfire burning south of Beaver is not seeing much change in size. Officials said the Little Twist Fire didn’t grow much as of Saturday. As of Monday morning it has consumed just over 5-thousand acres, it is 40-percent contained and crews believe the fire will remain active as the weather remains hot and dry. Area closures near the fire are still in effect, but officials noted some campgrounds remain open as the nearly 250 personnel on site continue to try and douse the fire.
