(Salt Lake City, UT) — The legislature has passed a bill banning public entities such as businesses and government agencies from restricting people and employees based on whether or not they’re vaccinated. The bill has exceptions for medical facilities and providers, along with those who handle medical waste and other hazardous materials. It also does not apply to schools and universities. The measure that cleared both the House and Senate on Wednesday now goes to Governor Spencer Cox for his signature.
