(Washington, DC) — A Utah Senator is among those who could move to the nation’s highest court if one presidential candidate wins the election. Republican Vivek Ramaswamy released a list of candidates yesterday, and fellow Republican Mike Lee was one of the options. Ramaswamy said his list includes candidates with an “originalist understanding” of the Constitution and the unique threats to liberty in the 21st century. Lee held a number of roles before winning a seat in the Senate, including the Assistant U.S. Attorney in Salt Lake City and a clerkship with Supreme Court Justice Samuel Alito.
