(Salt Lake City, UT) – The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints started humanitarian efforts in Eastern Europe as the Russian invasion of Ukraine continues. Church officials gave sleeping bags, cots, tents and other essential supplies to government agencies and other organizations helping refugees as they flee the country. Members are encouraged to donate through the Church Humanitarian Aid Fund if they are looking for a way to help.
