LDS Church Donates $2M To Native American Museum In Oklahoma City

(Oklahoma City, OK) — The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is making a big donation to an Oklahoma museum dedicated to the history of Native Americans. The Church announced yesterday that it is giving two-million-dollars to the First Americans Museum in Oklahoma City. The donation will go toward helping build a FamilySearch center at the museum to help Native Americans explore their ancestry. FamilySearch is a nonprofit branch of the Church dedicated to exploring genealogy and preserving family histories.
