(Salt Lake City, UT) — The Mormon Church is donating one-and-a-half million dollars to the American Red Cross. The Red Cross says the money comes at a good time because of the many needs required to deal with future disasters in the U.S. The church donated the proceeds from its film “Meet the Mormons” to the Red Cross in 2015, which was estimated at around one-point-eight million dollars.
