(Kanab, UT) — A Kanab man accused of murder is out on bail. District Judge Richard McKelvie granted the 100-thousand dollar bail for Dustin Pedersen last month after also receiving dozens of letters of support from character witnesses. One of those letters came from a Washington County Commissioner, and the Salt Lake Tribune reports Judge McKelvie found the letters to be “very compelling.” Pedersen is accused of killing 29-year-old Nichole Olsen outside of a nightclub in Salt Lake City last month.
