(St. George, UT) — Jeffrey R. Holland, Acting President of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, will rededicate the St. George Temple. The church announced on Monday that Holland has been assigned to rededicate the Temple on Sunday, December 10th, one week after his 83rd birthday. It’s likely to be a bittersweet day for the popular Apostle. He and his late wife, Patricia Terry Holland, both St. George natives, were married in the St. George Temple 60 years ago. She died in July.
