Fire officials are battling a fire in Beaver County burning near I-15 that has caused road closures and heavy delays in the area.

The Mile Marker 122 fire is estimated 350 acres, burning ten miles North of Beaver. Officials believe the blaze is human caused. There is no containment as of Thursday afternoon.

I-15 is closed in both directions and traffic is being diverted.

Southbound is being diverted to eastbound I-70, then to highway 89.

Northbound is being diverted at milepost 95 onto Eastbound SR 20.

Westbound traffic from I-70 is being diverted to highway 89 Marysvale Canyon.

UDOT officials note poor visibility do to smoke in the area.
