(Salt Lake City, UT) – A chemical company founded by Jon Huntsman Sr. is about to merge with a Swiss rival. Salt Lake City-based Huntsman Corporation is expected to announce the all-stock deal with Clariant AG later today. The merger would create a combined company worth at least 14-billion-dollars, according to experts. Huntsman Corporation CEO Peter Huntsman will reportedly head the newly created company, while the current CEO of the Swiss company would become chairman of the merged company’s board.Â
