(Salt Lake City, UT) — Utah House Speaker Brad Wilson is beginning an effort to help secure more water for the Great Salt Lake. Wilson introduced House Bill 410 yesterday. In addition to trying to secure more water rights, the 40-million dollars set aside in the bill would go toward projects that improve water flow and protect wetlands and habitats connected to the lake. The bill is scheduled for debate in a House committee tomorrow.
