(Salt Lake City, UT) — The Utah House has overwhelmingly approved a bill to block most private businesses and government agencies from requiring employees and customers to provide proof of vaccination against COVID-19. St. George Republican Walt Brooks’ bill won quick approval from the GOP-dominated House. Brooks said he worked to overcome most of the opposition that killed a similar bill last year, adding an exception for businesses that could lose federal funding if they drop a vaccine requirement. The bill now goes to the Senate.
