House Approves Bill To Keep Businesses From Requiring Proof Of Vaccination

(Salt Lake City, UT) — A bill that would keep employers from requiring proof of vaccination from workers is now headed to the state Senate. The House approved House Bill 60 in a 51-23 vote yesterday. The measure would keep businesses from requiring proof of vaccination before allowing customers to enter. More controversially, it blocks most companies from requiring proof of any type of vaccination from employees or job candidates. Hospitals, schools and some other businesses would be exempt if the bill becomes law.
