Another horse has been shot, this time in Oak City, as part of a string of livestock shootings that have happened this year throughout central Utah. According to a post to the Jane’s Peek Facebook page, the Shmutz family lost their mare during the weekend that started Sep. 18.

Currently there is no information on the assailant and anyone with information or who has seen anything suspicious is urged to contact the Millard County Sheriff’s office at (435) 743-5302.
