(Salt Lake City, UT) — The Hogle Zoo wants to put a spotlight on wildlife that calls Utah home. The zoo announced this week that they are starting an expansion project called Wild Utah. The three-acre exhibit will allow visitors to get closer to species like mountain lions, bighorn sheep and wild burros. Smaller animals such as badgers, foxes, owls and ants will be featured in smaller exhibits. The 22-million-dollar project should be completed sometime next year.
