(Salt Lake City, UT) — Governor Cox is thanking Utahns for helping reduce the number of wildfires in the state. The governor appears with state firefighters in a new advertising campaign released yesterday. He praises Utahns for taking steps to reduce human-caused fires, including making sure campfires are out and being safe with fireworks. The Utah Division of Forestry, Fire and Public Lands says there were eleven-percent fewer wildfires around the state this year.
