(Salt Lake City, UT) — Governor Spencer Cox is again asking Utahns to get vaccinated and get booster shots as COVID-19 cases surge around the state. In a video posted to social media, Cox called vaccines safe and said they can help reduce hospitalizations and deaths in Utah. He also praised healthcare employees for their work over the last two years and asked Utahns to do all they can to help ease their burdens. The state set another record yesterday with nearly nine-thousand positive tests for COVID-19.
