(Salt Lake City, UT) – Governor Spencer Cox met with state superintendents to discuss issues surrounding bullying and racism in schools. During his monthly press conference, Cox revealed the discussion took place last week. The governor called the talks about what is happening in school districts “raw” and “candid.” The discussion comes after ten-year-old Izzy Tichenor took her own life in the Davis School District following allegations of racism and bullying.
