(Gresham, OR) — Salt Lake City residents who shop at Trader Joe’s and Costco are being warned about a frozen fruit recall due to possible Hepatitis A contamination. The recall affects Trader Joe’s store-brand Organic Tropical Fruit Blend, as well as Costco’s Kirkland Signature frozen organic strawberries. Oregon-based supplier Scenic Fruit Company said the recall was issued “out of an abundance of caution,” urging customers to throw away the products or return them for a refund.
