(Lake Powell, UT) — Those looking to get outdoors can do so without their wallets this weekend. The National Park Service says a free entrance day is being offered this Saturday at Glen Canyon National Recreation Area. Other national parks around the state and country are also waiving entrance fees thanks to rising temperatures. Officials noted other fees may apply for camping and other activities.
