(Salt Lake City, UT) — Former Governor Mike Leavitt wants to expand the global impact of Utah’s Tabernacle Choir at Temple Square. Leavitt held a virtual meeting last night outlining plans, including reaching more countries on future international tours. He also wants to expand the choir’s digital audience and diversify its membership. Leavitt also announced that a tour of Europe scheduled for later this year has been canceled because the choir has not had time to prepare due to the pandemic. Leavitt became president of the choir last August.
