(Provo, UT) – A former Mormon bishop will spend time in prison for sexual abuse. A Provo judge sentenced Keith Robert Vallejo to five years to life yesterday for his conviction on a charge of object rape. Vallejo will also serve a one-year to 15-year sentence for his conviction on ten counts of sexual abuse. Two women accused Vallejo of touching them inappropriately at his Provo home in 2013 and 2014. Vallejo’s attorney had requested a short jail sentence and probation, and says his client is considering an appeal.Â
