(Spanish Fork, UT) — The Utah County Sheriff’s Office says a former lawyer for the State Attorney’s Office has been arrested on child porn charges. Officials say Gary Lee Bell was arrested after child porn which they believe he made was allegedly found on his cell phone. The 66-year-old Bell was originally arrested a month ago on suspicion of sexual exploitation of a minor. The county sheriff’s office says a judge ordered his release September seventh and he was to wear a GPS tracker. Bell has been booked into the Utah County Jail on suspicion of sexual abuse of a child as well as a dozen counts of sexual exploitation of a minor. He’s being held without bail.
