Heavy rain has led to flooding in Sanpete County. Around 4:00 p.m. Aug. 18 a large storm system brought  heavy rainfall to Fountain Green causing major flooding on Main Street and throughout the town. According to the Sanpete Unity Facebook page, several homes are flooded. There was also flooding at Fountain Green Elementary School and classes at that school are cancelled, Aug. 19. No injuries have been reported.
