Flash Flood Watches In Effect For Parts Of Utah Today

(Salt Lake City, UT) — Several Utah national parks and recreation areas could see flash floods later today. The National Weather Service has issued a flash flood watch for portions of southern Utah, including Bryce Canyon, Canyonlands, Capitol Reef and Zion national parks. The weather services rates flash floods as probable in those areas. Flash flooding in Arches National Park is considered possible today.
