(Beaver, UT) — A wildfire north of Cedar City continues to grow as firefighters develop a plan of attack. The Thompson Ridge Fire near Beaver started on Friday and burned roughly five acres when it was discovered. But, the fire has now scorched about 250 acres as of yesterday morning with zero percent containment. Nearly two dozen firefighters are on the scene along with different types of equipment, including a helicopter. It’s unclear if any structures are in danger because of the fire.
