(Kanab, UT) — A wildfire is causing problems in Kane County. Utah Fire Info shows the wildfire started yesterday afternoon east of Kanab along Highway 89 which resulted in some traffic stoppages. Officials say the fire was sparked by vehicle malfunction. It was estimated to be around 150 acres in size but it’s unclear if firefighters were able to begin setting up a containment line. The flames were threatening structures and had caused some power outages in Kanab.
