Crews are working to determine what started a fire at an apartment in Richfield Wednesday afternoon.
According to Police Chief Trent Lloyd, the fire broke out around 4 p.m. All the occupants of the apartment made it out safely when crews arrived and crews were able to get the blaze out fairly quickly.
The bedroom where the fire broke out is heavily damaged, but officials report only smoke damage in all other rooms with no structural damage.
An investigation on the cause is still underway.
