Early in the afternoon of the 25, fire crews responded to a fire inside a building belonging to Dogberry located on the east side of Richfield next to Whites Sanitation.

The building that caught fire is where Dogberry does a lot of painting so the building contained a lot of varnish and saw dust, causing the fire to spread quickly and to put out a lot of smoke.

Luckily most of the employees were out to lunch when the fire started and no one was injured in the fire.

The fire spread to at least one other building, but fire crews were able to keep it away from others.

According to police the fire was started when weed burning got out of control.
