A woman is dead after a single vehicle crash in Manti. Just before 6:30 a.m. on Dec. 18 a Honda Accord was traveling South on Main Street near 335 South when the vehicle crossed left of center, over two lanes of travel, a curb and directly into a large tree.

The driver, Sheri Mellor age 41 of Fayette, was the sole occupant of the vehicle and was pronounced dead at the scene. According to Utah Highway Patrol Sargent Clay Morgan, at this time the cause of the crash is still under investigation.
