(Salt Lake City, UT) — Farmers and ranchers in 17 Utah counties are being invited to apply for drought relief loans. Governor Cox issued an emergency declaration for much of southern Utah last month due to severe and extreme drought conditions. The Utah Department of Agriculture and Food announced Tuesday that low-interest loans are available through the Emergency Disaster Relief program.
