Ex-teacher in student sex case due for parole hearing

DRAPER, Utah (AP) — A former Utah English teacher is set to appear before the state parole board for the first time since she was sentenced to prison after being convicted of sexually abusing three students.
The Board of Pardons and Parole will consider when to release ex-Davis High School teacher Brianne Altice on Tuesday.
The 37-year-old woman is serving at least 2 years and up to 30 years in prison after she pleaded guilty to three counts of forcible sexual abuse.
She got credit for the jail time she served starting in January 2015, when allegations emerged that she continued a sexual relationship with one of the boys after her arrest.
Prosecutors say one of the boys was 16 and two were 17 when she had sex with them.
