(Kanab, UT) — The Kane County Sheriff’s Office is recommending the evacuation of homes and cabins in the area of the Left Fork Fire. The Sheriff’s Office said yesterday that residents of the Bryce Woodlands Estates area near Kanab should leave after the wildfire escaped fire lines on the southwest side. Dixie National Forest also expanded road and trail closures in the area. The fire has grown to around three-thousand acres since it rekindled last weekend.
