Northbound and southbound lanes on Interstate 15 in Lehi are temporarily closed. According to reports, a light pole fell on the freeway near Triumph Blvd overnight damaging four additional poles.

Repairs began about 12:30 p.m. and crews are diverting traffic causing significant delays for travelers. A spokesperson for the Utah Department of Transportation said crews are hoping to complete the work by rush hour this afternoon, but drivers are being told to “plan travel and avoid the area.”
