According to a statement from The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints posted on June 17, Elder Jeffery R. Holland has been admitted to the hospital after several days of illness. Elder Holland is a member of the LDS church’s Quorum of the Twelve Apostles.

According to Eric Hawkins, a spokesperson for the church, “Elder Jeffrey R. Holland of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles was admitted to the hospital last week following several days of illness. He has been tested and does not have COVID-19. Other diagnostic studies are being done.”
