(Kane County, UT) — A state agency is looking for information about the illegal killing of a buck deer in southern Utah. The Division of Wildlife Resources said yesterday they were informed about the discovery of a dead deer in Kane County last month. Investigators sent to the area found the deer shot in the Kanab Creek area of the Sevier River. Officials believe a smaller gun was used to shoot the deer and the shooting took place during the week leading up to the discovery of the carcass. Anybody with information is asked to contact DWR.
