(Salt Lake City, UT) — The Utah Department of Natural Resources is asking property owners not to do any lawn watering this week. The department’s first Lawn Watering Guide of the year asks Utahns not to water lawns through Thursday. The only exception is Washington County, where DNR officials say lawns should be watered one time this week due to dry conditions. The DNR plans to issue the guide each week to help Utahns manage the state’s already low water supply.
